How timely was TIME'S article "Keepers of the FLock"! I took time in this week's Sunday School class to discuss the implication of TIME's article on the Boston Church of Christ and our Standard Lesson. I can't help but wonder how Kip McKean would apply this week's Scriptures as "Keepers of The Flock". Peter is specific on the proper relationship of the elders to their flock. "Feed the flock of which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock." I Peter 5: 2,3.(KJV) Thanks TIME. Surely someone on your staff knew that this was the proper time to print the article.
