How can someone be both crushed and elated with TIME's "OLYMPIC SPECIAL" cover? Well, I was - more crushed than elated. With Jill Smolowe (Oklahoma City) writing the article and Shannon Miller of Edmond receiving equal billing in the article content, why couldn't you have had a cover featuring both girls: Kim Zmeskal and Shannon Miller. I, for one, am crushed. With Kelly Garrison and Bart Connor having ties to Oklahoma and Steve Nunno, it is about TIME that Oklahoma's strong gymnastic tradition should be recognized. Shannon Miller should have been on that front cover with Kim; Shannon's big chance and TIME blew it - BIG TIME!
