FYI. June 3rd is a significant day in James Dean's life, according to Seth's Aunt Jill!

Born: 7:39 pm after about 9 hours in the hospital. Drema went to see her doctor in Lawton. She had gained 20 lbs in one week. Her face was puffy, as well as all the rest of her body. Preeclampsia - a very dangerous condition ... sometimes deadly. Her doctor sent her directly to Grady Memorial. The amazing thing is, Drema made the drive by herself without incident and was quickly put in the hospital with plenty of drips, and a lot of magnesium. So, ... when you look at the pictures, you will automatically notice her puffiness. Within two hours after the birth, the water retention and blood pressure began, quickly to recede.

Significant Facts: Seth Andrew weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and measured as a keeper at 19.0 inches. Grown 2 and a half inches. Totally breastfed!!

Drema had preeclampsia, which causes a lot of water build up and high blood pressure. She went to her regular doctor in Lawton on Friday, and he sent her up to Chickasha/Grady Memorial. With some fast thinking and a great medical team, Drema delivered her baby about 4 weeks earlier. Everything is fine now. She is losing the water and is beginning to look like her own self. Of course, she is breast feeding and has plenty of milk, (duh). Drema has 6 weeks off, so in that 6 week time, she must get her milk up enough that she can pump it and save it to feed the baby while she is working. The following are random pictures by Darrin. ---Drema is a pro at lactational feeding. Ah, ... breastfeeding full time. Of course, at one year old, this week, Seth is eating anything in sight. He stands on his own, eats ground up food, baby food, and is still nursing. He is becoming a big "bo-hunk." (Adventures In Babysitting, the movie!) Drema is working part time. We expect Seth to start walking any day. He pulls up, crawls, and waves like a Hollywood Star.
